Blue hues with lil'lemons
A few weeks ago, I entered a little boutique in Koko Marina, Hawaii Kai called Mikinola. I've strolled passed it on multiple occasions but I've never walked in.
As I entered the space, I was expecting to find something delicate but fit my style and taste. While browsing through the racks, I began to take mental notes on what I liked, the price and how many times I would be able to wear the dresses or rompers. As I made my way through the store, I stumbled upon a table full of adorable spring wear for girls. At that moment, every single debate and mental note I had about what I wanted went out the window.
Mikinola brought in a new brand for girls called Lil'Lemons. The collection was not only adorable, it was also a branch from a brand that I was secretly into called For Love For Lemons. I say secretly because I don't dress girly anymore. I used to be decked out in dresses from Kate Spade and all my heels had to be from Salvatore Ferragamo but my style changed. My current style is to dress comfortable with some good pairs of sneakers. Some would call it street.
Anyway, I stared at this collection for a minute then justified the purchase as an "Easter weekend" dress. I grabbed the last dress size available, had Ella try it on and the rest was history.
In this photo, Ella is running with her friend through the Honolulu Zoo.
